Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS)
WHAT IS BHIS?
BHIS is a voluntary program offered to help families and children manage mental health challenges, healthy choices, and social issues at home and in the community. Services are provided in the home on a weekly basis, sometimes more
often if needed. This allows children and families to learn and apply skills in their natural setting. Areas addressed include communication, conflict resolution, social skills, and emotional coping.
