Sande was born in Iowa and raised at Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. She earned a bachelor’s in conservation and wildlife management from Missouri State University and then moved west and worked as a park ranger in Idaho for many years. Sande returned to school and earned her bachelor’s in nursing from Idaho State University in 2005. She began her nursing career in Colorado, then transitioned to travel nursing and has worked in many hospitals from California to the Midwest. Sande eventually landed in southern Iowa and worked at Clarke County Hospital in the emergency department and as the nursing education specialist. While working at Clarke County Hospital she attended school part time to earn her master’s in nursing from Walden University as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys, gardening, raising chickens and goats, traveling, and summer vacations with her family.

Dr. Antony
PSYCHIATRIST, Telehealth
Dr. Antony started with Crossroads in May 2014. He earned his bachelor of Medicine in 1995 from St. John’s Medical College. He has been a board eligible psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient care. Skilled in psycho-pharmacological management and psychiatric disorders. Currently Dr. Antony serves clients at the Creston location.

Kim Spears
PMHNP , Telehealth
Ms. Spears has provided services with Crossroads since 2015. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Boise State University and her Masters in Nursing at Stonybrook University, Long Island. She spent six years working at an inpatient psychiatric hospital and has been practicing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner since 2007. She currently assists patients in our Creston Office.
